Derbyshire Employment & Skills Board (DESB) - Diane Jeffery Diane co-ordinates the work of the DESB, which includes the Skills for Life and Work Theme Group. The group works strategically: to co-ordinate the development of SfL throughout Derbyshire; to avoid duplication, ensure complementarity and share good practice; to develop collaborative activities between providers and monitor the outcomes. East Midlands Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training (EMCETT) - Ian Grayling Ian is the Director for EMCETT, which is one of 11 National Centres for Excellence funded by the Learning & Skills Improvement Service (LSIS). EMCETT support providers and employers delivering initial and continuing teacher education for the Lifelong Learning Sector and sponsor the East Midlands SfL Forum, its associated Strategic Workforce Development Group and this website.
