New Blended-Learning Delivery Models for the SfL L5 Teaching Diplomas:
The East Midlands Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training (EMCETT) has developed a blended-learning delivery model for all three Specialist SfL Diplomas.
This model, approved by OCR, is freely available for adoption and adaptation by any provider (or consortium of providers) with adequate staffing to deliver it. The document given here LLLP Partly Integrated Model describes the developmental process that is currently under way to create these new programmes.
Any organisation wanting to deliver one or more of these programmes should contact Ian Grayling at EMCETT on iang@slcollege.ac.uk
Resources for the SfL Specialist Diplomas:
Matrices providing extensive live hyperlinks mapped to the assessment criteria for the SfL L5 Additional Diplomas, can be opened below. They were developed by experts to support the EMCETT blended-learning delivery model for these awards. They could also be used by any provider who wishes to source new, nationally benchmarked and endorsed teaching and learning resources to enhance their existing provision.

Legacy SfLQI Teacher Training Materials
The legacy of resources developed under the Skills for Life Quality Initiative are available on the SfLQI website http://www.sflqi.org.uk/online/index.htm and are freely downloadable. You can also view a list of resources in word format, here Resources available from SfLQI in word format.
The list of materials helps users to see at a glance the range and scope of training courses and materials that have been developed throughout the lifetime of the initiative. Both individuals and providers can easily see what might be useful courses in terms of next steps of CPD.
The Skills for Life Quality Initiative was funded by the Quality Improvement Agency (QIA) and it drew to a close at the end of August 2006. The materials were developed as part of the LSC Skills for Life Quality Initiative between 2003 and 2005 and the Learning for Living DfES pathfinder 2006.
